Edlund at Aero Feb. 25

Visual-effects supervisor Richard Edlund, ASC, will discuss his Oscar-nominated work on the science-fiction film 2010 following a screening of the movie on Feb. 25 at the Aero Theater, 1328 Montana Ave., Santa Monica, at 7:30 p.m.

Edlund shared the Academy Award nomination for Best Visual Effects with George Jensen, Mark Stetson and Neil Krepela, ASC.

Tickets will actually include admission to a double feature; the second half of the program is 1984, the film for which Roger Deakins, ASC, BSC, pioneered the use of the bleach-bypass process.
