Cine Gear Expo to Honor Greenberg


LOS ANGELES — Adam Greenberg, ASC, will receive the Cine Gear Expo’s 2014 Cinematography Lifetime Achievement Award at Paramount Studios on June 6.

Born in Poland, Greenberg was raised in Russia and Israel. From 1962 through the early 1970s, he shot documentaries and features mainly in Israel. By the mid-1970s, he was working on features in Europe and South Africa, some of which were U.S. productions. In 1980, he moved to Los Angeles.

Greenberg’s credits include The Big Red One, The House on Chelouche Street, Ghost, The Terminator, Terminator 2: Judgment Day, La Bamba, Rush Hour and Snakes on a Plane.

As part of the Cine Gear schedule, Greenberg will also conduct a master class on June 8. Tickets to the master class are $75.
