Sadly, today Kodak is a shell of its former domination in the still and motion picture industry. Slow to respond to the explosion of the digital imaging revolution, Kodak closed its photographic R&amp;D labs, old factories were demolished that made black and white film and paper for decades, and selling off former subsidiaries right and left.

Kodak ia another example of an American iconic corporation failing due to the lack of being a true innovator and settling for the status quo.
