But the images which initially drew my attention were those from his City of Shadows, some of which were included in the book (pp202-204), where with long exposures he had reduced the people in the images to ghosts. I started looking for more information; and found this link which is an interesting read. You could illustrate with a picture of Winogrand Leica, used up to naked metal on the thumb zone, with the film plate scratched by intensive use…etc.
