| First off, with a Grass Valley Spirit Classic telecine on hand, the company will be showcasing telecine control by Baselight, the company’s digital film grading and finishing system. Complementing that demonstration, FilmLight will tackle the SD-to-4K DCI-compliant workflow with Baselight Eight; the laptop version of Baselight, part of FilmLight’s on-set solution; real-time grading from a DVS SAN at 2K resolution; the Northlight2 pin-registered film scanner; and the Truelight Projector probe, which was first demonstrated at IBC 2006 and is now available for purchase. |

MOS’s metadata flow begins with the company’s new MOS MONSTER server, which gathers metadata generated during the production process, from slate information to lens settings for each frame. This information is then combined with shot information using MOS’s TranScript, which in turn makes all of the metadata ready for real-time ingest into the Avid editing environment. Boasting the ability to capture, replay, and store 250 to 5,000 images per second in high-definition quality, this extreme slow-motion system features a Photron APX RS color camera with built-in memory, Fujinon Digipower broadcast lenses, a waterproof camera control unit (CCU) interfaced with SMPTE fiber optic cables, the SprintCam BC Server and support for the EVS Advanced Video Server Protocol. Three of the new models, designed for cameras with 2/3-inch imagers, fall under the eDrive Series and feature a built-in 2x extender and Canon’s digital eDrive, which enables users to easily program certain functions for precise, automated repeatability. Additionally, three new lenses comprise the Economical Series (one lens each for 2/3-, 1/2- and 1/3-inch imagers), and the last three of the new lenses add to the Remote-Control Series (again with one lens each for 2/3-, 1/2-, and 1/3-inch imagers).
