22nd Annual ASC Awards

2008 Sponsorship Materials

The American Society of Cinematographers is in full swing preparing for the 22nd Annual ASC Awards for Outstanding Achievement in Cinematography. Once again, we are asking for your gracious support as we set the stage for one of the most impressive awards shows to date. Our honorees comprise a spectacular lineup, with Stephen Burum, ASC receiving the Lifetime Achievement Award, Richard Edlund, ASC accepting the Presidents Award and George Spiro Dibie, ASC earning the Career Achievement in Television Award. In the upcoming weeks, we will announce the recipients of our International and Board of Governors Awards, as well as the student winners of the 2008 ASC Laszlo Kovacs Heritage Award. Then, on the night of the event, the envelopes will be opened and the coveted ASC Awards will be presented.

Please note that this year we have made some very important changes.

We are thrilled to announce that our ceremony will be held in the Grand Ballroom of the Hollywood and Highland Complex and will take place one month earlier than in years past, on Saturday, January 26, 2008

While these exciting changes promise to enliven and enhance our already stellar awards show, it means you have precious little time to reserve your tables and secure a sponsorship page in our collectible program book. Hurry now and book your tables, as seating is limited to 1,500 guests and the last several years have been sellouts! We are currently in production on the program book, a handsome keepsake filled with beautiful vintage photographs and biographical information about all of our nominees and award recipients. Sponsorship donations are $2,200 for a full page and $1,100 for a half page.

Once again, please note that January 26, 2008 is fast approaching. Act now to guarantee your place as an important collaborator on the 22nd Annual ASC Awards. One of our volunteers will call you soon to seek your support and answer any questions. As always, your involvement ensures that the evening will be a grand celebration for all.
