This shoulder support is designed for use with smaller DV camcorders like the Panasonic HVX-200A, the DVX-100B, the Canon XL-A1 or G1, and similar models. It places most of the weight of your camcorder on the shoulder, while leaving the right hand free to operate the camera zoom and focus controls.
